IT Admin

We are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

  • Install and configure software and hardware

  • Work with ISP (Internet provider) technician to resolve the connectivity issue for WFH people after conducting remote troubleshooting to identify the network connectivity or performance issues which are related to ISP connection. 

  • Test alternative pathways with all the available options until you resolve issues.

  • Record technical issues, solutions and all the actions taken to troubleshoot the issues in ticket work notes.

  • Ticket queue management including daily follow ups with clear documentation & communication with employees.

  • Ensure the resolutions are consistent with company standards and policies.

  • Proven work experience as a Remote Desktop Support, ISP support technician, Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar role

  • Ensure proper office infrastructure & smooth functioning of office. 

  • Manage network servers and technology tools

  • Set up accounts and workstations

  • Create systems / operation procedures in case of sudden downtime / emergency situation.

  • Keep & maintain records of all equipment purchased by the company & provided to the employees.

Must Haves

  • 3-5 years of hands-on IT experience with Windows/Mac OS environments and other Linux distros.

  • Familiar with basic IT, NAS, P2P VPN, system cloning, biometric systems, SQL and other basic network concepts.

  • Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions over call or slack.

  • Excellent problem-solving, multitasking skills, interpersonal skills and brilliant organisational skills

  • Taking ownership of reported employees issues and seeing problems through to resolution.

Good to Have

  • Maintain record / documentation of routine tasks, like PC setups, camtasia, Adobe suite installation & other software setups.

  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements

  • Troubleshoot issues and outages

  • Ensure security through access controls, backups 

  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models

  • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies

  • Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies.
